The school has carried out a detailed risk assessment, signed off by ODST. The safety of children and adults within the school is our priority. The school will be following guidelines as laid out by the DFE, who provide daily updates to schools. These include: monitoring for signs of Covid 19 e.g. cough and high temperature, regular handwashing, effective, regular cleaning, availability of PPE for staff and the use of social distancing and containment of children and staff in smaller groups.

Despite all measures taken to prevent a spread of Covid19, there will always be an element of risk. The school is committed to doing it's best in a very challenging situation.

Increasing Data Allowances on Mobile Devices

To support children whose access to remote education is limited, there is now a scheme which temporarily increases data allowances for mobile phone users on certain networks including Three, Smarty, Virgin Mobile, EE, Tesco Mobile and Sky Mobile.

We can request mobile data increases for children who:

  • do not have fixed broadband at home
  • cannot afford additional data for their devices
  • are experiencing disruption to their face-to-face education

If you believe that you fit the criteria and your child would benefit from this, please email Mr Pointer at with the name of the account holder, the number of the mobile device, the mobile network of that device (for example, Three) and if it is pay monthly or PAYG.
