Maple Year 3

Maple Class!

Maple Class! 1

Welcome to Maple Class - Year 3!

Welcome to Maple Class. Mr Bailey is the class teacher, joined by the wonderful Mrs Winter.

On this class page you will find all the important information regarding Topic webs, Homework letters and other information as well as photos of what your children have been up to!

Below you will find details about home learning.

Home learning:

If you are having issues accessing home learning materials please contact the class e-mail:

maple@benson.oxon.sch.uk

The class page is updated with suggested work. It will be updated regularly to give your child work in Maths, English and Science. There are also TOPIC, ART, READING and SPELLING mats to be used. They contain suggestions of different activities. Please feel free to download and use with your children. They are suggestions. Feel free to use the Topic web for the term should you wish to do any additional independent learning.

There is no set time limit for how long these activities should take, nor is there an expectation that children should be able to complete all activities on a piece of work, particularly in maths. The activities and slides for the lessons are designed to enable learning for varying abilities. Some challenges are set as a challenge and not an expectation.

The Maths and Literacy files will usually contain a full week so that you don't need to keep track of lots of files. I have uploaded them as powerpoint files (.ppt) and PDF. They are the same content and only uploaded in the event that one file type isn't useable for you at home.

TIMETABLE

Below is a loose version of the timetable Maple class has been following this term. If it is helpful to you, this would replicate the routine the children normally have in the week. Please don't worry if lessons do not take as long as they would in school, they would normally involve group work and whole class discussions.

Wednesday: *P.E Maths BRK Reading English LUNCH French/R.E

MATHS (WK 6 - beginning 30th March)

For Maths this week please click this link to White Rose. As a school we follow their scheme of learning and they have produced some home learning that will revise fractions for this term. They include teaching videos, work sheets and answers. Please choose from either week, one lesson video and activity a day, to revise the fractions topic.
