Today we will be adding and subtracting ten from a two-digit number.
Task 1: Use the 100 square to count on and back in tens from a given number e.g. Can you start at 3 and count on in tens (13, 23, 33, 43....). Can you start at 93 and count back in tens (93, 83, 73.....).
Task 2: Write the addition and subtraction number sentences to match the sequence.
Example:
3 + 10 = 13 93 - 10 = 83
13 + 10 = 23 83 - 10 = 73
23 + 10 = 33 73 - 10 = 63
Challenge: Complete the sequence starting at a different number.
