Literacy
It's time to write our persuasive leaflets! Watch the video here https://youtu.be/hxjGpaGggXc to see me begin writing the first draft of my leaflet. I'm clearly a little rusty at filming videos but hopefully it'll still be useful! Just like I'm writing on paper, you will need to write this on paper too and not on your computer. Use the PDF Marking Grid below to help you to make sure you include all of the persuasive features you'll need.
There is no reading lesson today so that you have plenty of time for writing. This is our first Big Write in Year 6 while you've been learning at home but I know you'll work hard and do your best. If you need help with anything, we can talk about it at today's Zoom meeting and we can always have some more time in our Literacy learning tomorrow if you need it.

Read through the Tuesday History PDF below to learn what happened or watch the video here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RjwJO-rZXzE&feature=youtu.be which shows me reading the PDF and giving you a little more detail. Then, print and cut out the events from the Timeline PDF below and put them in the correct order. The times on the sheets are already in the right order. Once you think you've put the events in the correct order, read the PDF or watch the video again to check.
