Reading
In reading today, we're going to use our retrieval and summarising skills to summarise what happens in chapter 20 of The Boy at the Back of the Class by drawing a picture. You'll need to read chapter 20 first and then use your retrieval skills to skim and scan for information before drawing a picture which summarises the key points from the chapter.

Literacy
Now that you've written your newspaper report, it's time to edit and improve your writing. Like I said with our diary entries, we've practised editing quite a lot in school so I won't be showing you my editing today. As always, you'll still need to read your writing out loud to listen for missing punctuation and that all your sentences make sense. If there are any spellings you're unsure about, use a dictionary at home or a website like https://kids.britannica.com/kids/browse/dictionary to check them. Once you've finished editing, read through your newspaper report one final time and find at least two sentences that you can add more detail to or improve with anything you're missing from the marking grid.
If you could like some feedback on your writing before your final draft tomorrow, please send me a picture of it.

Maths
It's time for our final algebra lesson! We'll be spending a second day looking at how to find pairs of values. Watch the video here https://vimeo.com/503100955 and then complete the sheet below. Like before, you may need to watch the video more than once and you will need to watch the video. Remember, if you're struggling, try and do the first page of the sheet. You can also find the answer sheet below to mark once you're finished. If you'd like to challenge yourself, there's a challenge sheet below. When you're finished, check your work with the answer sheet below.

Science
Hopefully, by now you have some mould growing so it's time to conclude our investigation You can find a sheet below called Conclusion Sheet which you could print off to complete or you can write in your lined exercise book.
If you have already completed your conclusion or you don't have any mould, you can find an experiment you can do at home called Water Volcano below instead.
