Wednesday 20th January

Today, we're going to practise our inference skills. Remember, inference is about making a good guess using clues and what we already know. Read through the PDF Wednesday Reading below to begin practising your inference skills and find out what today's activity is. You can print off the sheet below to write on or write the answers in your lined exercise book. Please send me your finished work today if you can.

We're going to do some SPaG learning today. Watch the video here to find out more and then use what you've learnt to help you complete the SPaG sheet below. You can print off the SPaG sheet to write on or write your answers in your lined exercise book. You can also find the challenge sheet below too to print off and write on or use to write the answers in your lined exercise book.

In maths today, we're going to look at ordering fractions, decimals and percentages using the methods we've used to convert between these already. Watch the video here and then complete the sheet below. Like before, you may need to watch the video more than once and you will need to watch the video. Remember, if you're struggling, try and do the first page of the sheet. You can also find the answer sheet below to mark once you're finished. If you'd like to challenge yourself, there's a challenge sheet below. When you're finished, check your work with the answer sheet below.

Today, we're going to be finding out about the scientist Carl Linnaeus. Watch the video here  to find out more about him and why he's important. When you're done, use the links below to help you research Carl Linnaeus and write your quiz. Don't forget to send it to me and I'll see how well I do in it! (Video) (video)
