PE Information

Cherry Class PE is on Tuesdays so children should come into school in PE kit every Tuesday.

Damson Class PE is on Tuesdays so children should come into school in PE kit every Tuesday.

Apple Class PE is on Thursdays so children should come into school in PE kit every Thursday. Later in the term we will start swimming lessons - more details to follow.

Homework

Reading: Please read with your children regularly. We use the acronym VIPERS in school to cover different comprehension areas (Vocabulary, Inference, Prediction, Explain, Retrieval, Summarise). There are some example questions at the bottom of this page which may be helpful to use while discussing your child's reading.

Maths: Please regularly go onto Times Table Rockstars. Look out for any challenges that we might set. 

Topic: In certain terms, the children are set a homework project.

Spellings: We will start the year with Common Exception Words before moving on to the Years 3 and 4 National Curriculum spellings.   We will monitor progress during our Spellings lessons, English lessons and through your child's writing.
