School Development Plan
Every year we create a School Development Plan identifying key priorities for improvement. For 2025-2026, our plan covers these areas:
Priority 1 - Raising Outcomes
1.1 Identify and address barriers to learning for individuals and groups of children
1.2 Further develop engagement in learning so children make the most of their time in lessons
1.3 Raise expectations for work in books so this reflects the learning taking place in classes
1.4 Raise outcomes in Maths and English using appropriate resources and teaching approaches
Priority 2 - Pedagogy
2.1 Use assessment effectively to identify next steps in learning
2.2 Use pedagogical approaches to respond to the needs of cohorts, groups and individual children
Priority 3 - Curriculum
3.1 Embed wider curriculum plans
3.2 Plan trips and experiences to enhance curriculum learning
Priority 4 - Ethos
4.1 Reflecting the school is now at capacity, create a sense of belonging across classes
4.2 Further develop collective worship
4.3 Support families with activities, community support and to improve attendance of children
