School lunches are cooked daily on site by our school catering team, led by Mrs Oosthuizen. Lunches are available to pupils from Reception year up to Year 6. All meals are ordered with class teachers on a daily basis - orders must be placed by 9.30am. Lunches (where charged) cost £2.40 per meal (Sept 2023).
Universal Infant Free School Meals scheme (UIFSM) - the government currently provides funding to pay for a school meal for all pupils in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 so pupils in these classes do not need to pay for school lunches.
Key Stage 2 pupils (Years 3 to 6) - pupils in Key Stage 2 can order lunches with teachers daily, but lunches need to be paid in advance. Parents can upload credit to the SchoolMoney system as they require. Meals are recorded on SchoolMoney at the end of the week (Friday).
If you think your child may be entitled to means tested free school meals due to your household income, please read the form below and return completed forms to the school office.
If you have any questions regarding lunch arrangements, please ask at the school office.
NB: Puddings will continue to be selected daily by the kitchen and will not necessarily correspond to those on the menu.
Special Diets & Allergies
If your child has special dietary requirements, we need to ensure our school catering team is aware and they can then offer an adapted menu for your child. Please inform the school office in the first instance. You will then be contacted by Mrs Oosthuizen so she can develop an adapted menu if necessary.
Free and subsidised school milk
We use Cool Milk to provide daily school milk for any children who would like it. Milk is free for under 5s and for children on means-tested Free School Meals. Parents need to pay once children are 5 years old. Please read the document below and register your child at www.coolmilk.com if you would like your child to receive milk at school. Please contact the school office if you have any queries regarding milk.
