Diverse Reading Suggestions

Below are a list of age appropriate suggested reads which help to celebrate the diversity in our community and wider world. Many of these books are available around school but are also available through book stores and amazon should you wish to have copies at home. At the bottom of this page there are a list of 'Read Alouds' which celebrate diversity all of which are suitable for KS1 children.

The book aims to address how a person with a disability may want to be spoken to. The book also aims to teach manners and empathy as well as celebrating differences.
