Hawthorn Year 5&6
Welcome to Hawthorn Class!
Our class teacher is Mrs Launchbury-Rainey. She loves pandas, Taylor Swift, books and her cat, Mittens. We're very lucky this year to be joined by various brilliant support staff: Mrs Skeels, Mrs Rowe, Mrs Winter and Mrs Guy. Mrs Skeels will be covering and teaching us on Tuesday and Wednesday afternoons.
This term, our topic is 'Glorious Greeks!'. In Whole Class Reading, we will be reading 'The Explorers' written by Katherine Randall. You can find more information on what we will be getting up to on our topic web.
Our PE day this term is Friday so we come into school in our PE kit every Friday.
